REGULATIONS OF THE STAY
- Commencement of the stay at the property constitutes full acceptance of the provisions of these regulations by the Guest.
- A Guest renting a room is required, upon check-in, to present a valid photo ID to the Reception staff and to complete and sign the registration card. In the event of refusal to present an identity document enabling check-in, the receptionist has the right to refuse to issue the room key.
- The Reception is authorized to issue a room key exclusively to the registered Guest who has signed the registration card. An exception applies if the registered Guest authorizes another person, indicated by first and last name, to collect the key.
- The property reserves the right to refuse to provide services to persons who are intoxicated or under the influence of narcotics.
- The property is obliged to collect a local tourist tax from Guests staying for leisure, tourism, or training purposes, in accordance with the rate specified in the Resolution of the Gdańsk City Council applicable in a given year.
- The property reserves the right to refuse a reservation or check-in of a minor who would stay on the premises without the supervision of an adult.
- Charges for room rental and parking services are collected as follows:
• in the case of cash payment — in advance for the entire stay,
• in the case of payment by payment card — a pre-authorization may be made on the card. The payment card will be charged the full amount of the stay on the day of departure. Non-refundable reservations constitute an exception — in such cases, Golden Tulip Gdańsk Residence charges the full amount of the stay on the day the reservation is made. - Rooms are rented per hotel day. The hotel day begins at 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and ends at 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. If the Guest does not specify the length of stay when renting the room, it is assumed that the room is rented for one hotel day.
- An unjustified change of room is subject to an additional fee of PLN 200. This amount covers the costs of additional cleaning.
- Any request to extend the stay beyond the period indicated on the day of arrival should be reported to the Reception by 11:00 a.m. on the day the room rental period expires. The Reception will consider the request subject to room availability.
- Remaining in the room or leaving belongings after 11:00 a.m. is treated as an extension of the stay. If the Guest vacates the room after 11:00 a.m., the Reception’s computer system will charge a fee for an additional hotel day at full rates.
- In the event of shortening the stay, the Guest is obliged to report this to the Reception by 11:00 a.m. Otherwise, the next hotel day is deemed to have commenced and is subject to full payment.
- The Guest is not entitled to transfer the room to other persons, even if the period for which the stay has been paid has not yet expired.
- Unregistered persons may stay in the Guest’s room between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
- The presence of unregistered persons in the room after 10:00 p.m. is deemed to constitute the Guest’s consent to paid accommodation of additional persons. Each additional person will be accommodated according to the current extra bed rate for an adult, in accordance with the price list available at the Reception.
- The property provides services in accordance with its standard. Any complaints regarding the quality of services provided should be reported to the Reception immediately after being noticed, which will allow for a prompt response by the staff.
- Golden Tulip Gdańsk Residence undertakes to ensure:
• a safe stay, including the protection of the confidentiality of information concerning the hotel Guest,
• professional and courteous service in all areas of provided services,
• room cleaning and removal of reported faults during the Guest’s absence;
in the Guest’s presence — only with the Guest’s consent and at the Guest’s request. If reported defects cannot be removed, the Reception will make every effort, where possible, to offer a room change or other solutions minimizing inconvenience. - Throughout the entire stay at the property, children under the age of 13 must remain under constant care and supervision of adults.
- Legal guardians bear full responsibility for the behavior of children, including any damage or destruction caused by them.
- Smoking of cigarettes, tobacco products, and electronic cigarettes is strictly prohibited in all areas of Golden Tulip Gdańsk Residence, including rooms as well as common and service areas. Violation of the smoking ban is tantamount to the Guest’s consent to cover the cost of room deodorization in the amount of PLN 500 for each commenced day.
- Quiet hours apply at Golden Tulip Gdańsk Residence from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. the following day. The behavior of Guests and persons using the property’s services must not disturb the peace of other Guests. The property reserves the right to refuse further provision of services to persons violating this rule.
- The Guest bears full material and legal responsibility for any damage or destruction of the property’s equipment and technical devices caused by the Guest, persons under the Guest’s care (in particular children), or visitors.
- For fire safety reasons, it is prohibited to use heaters, electric irons (not provided as room equipment), or any other devices not constituting hotel room equipment in rooms or other areas of the property, as well as to use open fire in any form, in particular candles, tealights, incense sticks, or matches.
- Each time the Guest leaves the room, they are obliged to ensure that doors and windows are closed.
- Golden Tulip Gdańsk Residence is liable for the loss of or damage to items brought in by Guests to the extent specified in Articles 846–849 of the Civil Code, unless the parties have agreed otherwise. This liability is limited if the items were not deposited with the Reception. The property has the right to refuse to accept items for deposit, in particular valuables and items of scientific or artistic value, if they pose a security risk, have an excessively high value in relation to the size and standard of the property, or take up too much space.
- The hotel Guest is obliged to notify the Reception immediately upon discovering any damage.
- Golden Tulip Gdańsk Residence is not responsible for damage to or loss of a car or other vehicle belonging to the Guest, nor for items left therein, if the damage arose due to reasons attributable to other users or third parties.
- Personal items left in the room by a departing Guest will be sent back at the Guest’s expense to the address indicated by the Guest. In the absence of such instructions, the property will store the items for a period of 3 months and then donate them to charity or for public use.
- The hotel Guest is obliged to familiarize themselves with the room equipment and to use it in a manner that does not cause deterioration of its condition.
- In the event of violation of these regulations, Golden Tulip Gdańsk Residence reserves the right to refuse further provision of services to the person violating the rules. Such person is obliged to immediately comply with staff instructions, settle payments for services rendered to date, cover the costs of any damage or destruction, and leave the property.
- Golden Tulip Gdańsk Residence may refuse to accept a Guest who, during a previous stay, grossly violated the regulations by causing damage to the property or to other Guests’ property, causing bodily harm to staff or Golden Tulip Gdańsk Residence may refuse to accept a Guest who, during a previous stay, grossly violated the provisions of the regulations, in particular caused damage to the property of the hotel or other Guests, caused personal injury to hotel employees or other persons present on the premises, or otherwise disrupted Guests’ stay or the proper operation of the property.
Pets are allowed, provided that the Guest accepts the additional pet policy available at the Reception.
